The lightweight Filson Surveyor 36L Backpack Black is made of extremely tough, lightweight 500-denier Cordura® and abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura® nylon that holds up to heavy use. Designed for comfort on long trips, with padded, ergonomic shoulder straps, an adjustable sternum strap, a padded back panel and a padded laptop compartment (up to 16" laptops).

With 36 liters of capacity, there’s plenty of room for clothing and gear for an overnighter, and its light weight makes it a bag you’ll want to grab whenever you run out the door. The adjustable shoulder straps are contoured to fit your body shape. The buckled sternum strap slides on tracks the length of the shoulder straps for infinite adjustability. The back panel and shoulder straps are padded for all-day carrying comfort. the interior is lined with lightweight ripstop nylon and features a zippered security pocket and a padded laptop compartment. Flap-covered water-bottle pockets on each side and a full-width zippered pocket keep essentials close at hand.

The Filson Surveyor 36L Backpack is build with lightweight 500D CORDURA® nylon in a canvas weave similar to Filson's iconic Tin Cloth. The bottom, front pocket flap and side flap pockets are made of 1000D CORDURA® nylon in a canvas weave similar to Filson's iconic Rugged Twill. Both of these highly abrasion-resistant materials are dry-waxed to provide the legendary water resistance of Filson's heritage waxed cottons.
500D and 1000D CORDURA® fabrics are designed for living and built to last and has proven performance in many of the world’s toughest environments. Characteristics • Rugged – excellent resistance to abrasion • Strong - excellent tear strength • Water Repellent – quick drying.
