• Full-Grain, Oiled Leather Upper. After incorporating oil into the tanning process, Danner take the oiled, full-grain leather and put it through a series of rigorous testing to ensure its strength and durability. This form of leather is more resistant to water and other liquid damage and requires less maintenance over time.

• Unlined Leather Upper. Lighter weight with cool comfort in warmer temperatures, Danner unlined leather boots will mold perfectly to your foot.

• Removable OrthoLite Footbed. Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.

• Danner Wedge Outsole. The non-marking, oil-and-slip resistant Danner Wedge outsole provides cushioning, lightweight support, traction, and won't track debris. The soft polyurethane compound is designed for maximum comfort for long days on smooth indoor surfaces, such as concrete and wood. Not recommended for daily use on asphalt.

• Stitchdown Construction. Handcrafted to provide a wider platform, Danner legendary stitchdown construction offers increased stability underfoot. This stitchdown boots can be recrafted.

• Electrical Hazard (EH) Protection. Electrical hazard (EH) footwear is manufactured with non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels.

• How It Fits. Portland made 503 last has a casual fit without compromising Danner's comfortable lace-to-toe construction. Fits true to size. We recommend choosing your usual size.

• Recraftable. Extend the life of your boot with Danner recrafting services. This boot is eligible for a number of paid services, including part replacement, leather care and restitching.

TIMELESS DESIGN

The timeless design of the Bull Run Moc toe boot is always constructed from a full-grain oiled leather upper, with the oil being incorporated into the tanning process, giving a more liquid resistant coating which in turn requires less maintenance over time. The leather also goes through a series of tests to ensure strength and durability of the material for a robust, tough finished outer. Danner also reframes from lining the leather for a cooler wear in warmer temperatures, a lighter feel and giving the material the ability to mould perfectly to your foot.

The most important step in making an unlined work boot is the careful selection of leather. It is essential that the leather chosen is both strong and supple. To achieve this balance, Danner subjects leather skins to seven rigorous tests assessing their strength, density and resilience. Danner observes how the leather naturally molds to the contours of the foot over time, ensuring a personalized fit and long-term comfort. In addition, they rigorously assess durability to ensure the leather can withstand the rigors of different work environments for years to come.

The design also incorporates an Ortholite footbed for superior shock absorption and comfort, that can be removed if desired. It has been made by combining 3 layers of varying density open-cell Polyurethane for maximum cushioning and support. The use of this material also benefits the wearer with better heat dissipation and air circulation.

Moving down to the sole, the Danner Wedge outsole has been designed to provide lightweight support, cushioning and traction, mix that with the hand crafted stitchdown construction offering support and stability, these are an all-round well-rounded boot and finished with tonal branding and iconic moc toe silhouette.

MADE IN USA WITH IMPORTED COMPONENTS

Danner sources the best materials from around the world and utilize some construction work overseas before shipping partially assembled components to be finished in their Portland, Oregon factory. Once in the Danner factory, the boot uppers are formed and the entire bottom of the boot is constructed by hand, giving Danner greater control over the finished product. This manufacturing process allows Danner to bring you a less expensive USA made boot without compromising the quality you expect from Danner.
