BEAUTIFUL BOOT WITH UNPARALLELED DURABILITY AND STABILITY

Just look at it. This is a beautiful boot. Made in the USA, the Danner Light II is classically designed and packed with features. The upper is made of high-quality full-grain Nubuck leather combined with lightweight, strong and breathable Denier nylon. The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX lining keeps your feet dry by allowing moisture to evaporate from the inside, but not allowing water to penetrate from the outside. This combination provides the best protection in cold and wet environments. Danner's stitchdown construction—stitched into Vibram soles, the gold standard for hiking boots, offers unmatched durability and stability. In addition, the Vibram Kletterlift outsole offers lightweight comfort, excellent shock absorption and the rubber compound provides great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces.

FEATURES

• Nubuck Leather & 1000 Denier Nylon Upper. For abrasion- and scuff-resistance, Danner use full grain nubuck leather combined with lightweight, breathable Denier nylon. This combination offers some of the best protection in cold and wet environments.

• GORE-TEX (GTX). 100% waterproof and breathable, GORE-TEX liners ensure that no water gets in, while allowing sweat and moisture to get out.

• Danner Airthotic. This molded polyurethane instep cups the heel and supports the arch of the foot. Its half-length shape includes perforations to help air flow within your boots.

• Vibram® Kletterlift Outsole. Specifically designed for comfort and durability; the heel provides superb shock absorption and the rubber compound guarantees great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces.

• Stitchdown Construction. Handcrafted to provide a wider platform, Danner legendary stitchdown construction offers increased stability underfoot. This stitchdown boots can be recrafted.

• How It Fits. The Light II offers a standard slim, slender profile with a narrower fit. Boots with this "D" (medium) last fit people with narrower feet better than those with wider feet. In our experience, this is perceived as very tight in Europe. Therefore, we only offer the "EE" (wide) version in this style. This will feel like a regular fit for most people. We recommend you choose your usual size.

• Recraftable. Extend the life of your boot with Danner recrafting services. This boot is eligible for a number of paid services, including part replacement, leather care and restitching.

• 365-Day Warranty. If you suspect your purchase isn’t up to Danners unrelenting standards, or is defective in any way, Danner wants to make things right. Danner offer a 365-day warranty across their entire footwear and apparel lines.

STRONG, YET FLEXIBLE

The most important step in making an unlined work boot is the careful selection of leather. It is essential that the leather chosen is both strong and supple. To achieve this balance, Danner subjects leather skins to seven rigorous tests assessing their strength, density and resilience. Danner observes how the leather naturally molds to the contours of the foot over time, ensuring a personalized fit and long-term comfort. In addition, they rigorously assess durability to ensure the leather can withstand the rigors of different work environments for years to come.

COMFORTABLE AND FLEXIBLE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX

While most boots require a serious commitment to break in, the Danner Light II is comfortable and flexible right out of the box—the result of the lightweight suede and 100 denier nylon upper. The heavy duty Vibram outsole provided plenty of traction each step of the way.

AIRTHOTIC FOOTBED

The Airthotic is a mid-length, contoured polyurethane instep that wraps the heel and supports the arch of the foot. The raised arch support is firmer than a foam footbed, does not compress over time and is perforated for better air circulation and comfort.

Moving down to the sole, the Vibram® Kletterlift outsole has been designed to provide comfort and durability; the heel provides superb shock absorption and the rubber compound guarantees great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces, combine that with the handmade stitchdown construction and you'll find that these boots offer a lot of stability underfoot. This Danner stitchdown boots can be recrafted and the Vibram outsole is resoleable.
